GLAMboyant, an activation by One Kampong Gelam (OKG) in conjunction with Grand Prix Season Singapore (GPSS) 2022, is set to take place from 23 September to 2 October 2022. With an array of entertainments, the event boasts a lineup like no other. The ongoing theme behind GLAMboyant is Glamorous and Flamboyant — an exact representation of the Kampong Gelam character.
The programme’s lineup looks exciting and visitors can expect a fun packed day full of leisure and activities. If you’re coming with your families, there will be interactive workshops for the little ones to participate in! OKG has it all covered when it comes to good food with good vibes, movie screening under the stars, extreme sports BMX, and street entertainments. Not only can you groove to the good music, you’ll also get to watch professional dance crews battle it out on the street! Yes, OKG is bringing the old school back! In the evening, you can catch the cultural performances over at the iconic Bussorah Street.
With the return of the high-profile #GPSS, GLAMboyant brings about merriment from each and every lane in the Kampong Gelam precinct. Each of the 5 activations will be situated in the prominent areas of the precinct, namely Aliwal Street, Bussorah Street, Sultan Gate and Haji Lane. OKG’s objective behind GLAMboyant is a sincere hope that they represent the spirit of Kampong Gelam in all of its exuberance, confidence and style. OKG promises a gathering at GLAMboyant for people of all ages and walks of life. You just have to Be Glam & Be Flam.

FOODYARD
There is one thing that brings people together – We all love to eat! Leave it to Sunset Rocket to grease the wheels of their food trucks for an array of F&B stalls like Picanhas, Syukor Burger & Satay Man, to name a few. The stalls are open daily during the GLAMboyant event, from Mon to Thu, 3pm to 11pm and Fri to Sun at 12nn to 11pm. More than 10 food trucks will be parked at the carpark, opposite Aliwal Arts Centre, the greatest one yet presented by Sunset Rocket. Groove to live music, DJs spinning and busking acts performed by local artists at the central stage.

Airdroz Bike Skills Academy, an action sports training facility is holding BMX competition exclusively at Sultan Gate throughout the Glamboyant event! As they are the first in Singapore with an Airbag training compound, sports enthusiasts will not want to miss it.
