Supported by Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Gelam Gallery Alive was part of a series of art events that happened across Singapore over 2 weekends in November.
In Kampong Gelam, it was held at the first ever outdoor art gallery, Gelam Gallery @ Muscat Street. Visitors were entertained with engaging performances by jugglers, mime artistes and dancers and treated to various art and craft demos such as dried flowers arrangements, hand-painted bags, silkscreen painting and clay art, etc.
The street was decorated with colourful lanterns and romantic stringed bulbs, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere. Even the dustbins in the back alley were given a makeover to complement the lovely atmosphere and beautiful art pieces here.
